Tuesday evening, July 28, 2015 the Florence Planning Commission held two public  hearings. 

Their decisions are as follows:

•             Clawson Minor Partition—A request for tentative minor partition at 935 Rhododendron Dr. to create two additional parcels south of the existing residence.  PC voted 7-0 to approve the tentative minor partition.  The applicant now has 6 months to prepare the final platting documents for staff review and recording with the surveyors office.  One of the conditions of approval is for the applicant to determine, with the best available information, that Spruce Point Cemetery is not located on this property.  Staff will be working with state and local resources to assist the applicant on locating the cemetery.

•             Central Lincoln PUD Temporary Mobile Building Approval Extension — A request for a two year extension of their temporary conditional use permit for the single-wide mobile break room building located at 966 Highway 101 in the Mainstreet District.  PC voted 7-0 to approve the extension of the temporary conditional use permit.  There was opposition on the request who now has 12 days to file an intent to appeal.  If an intent to appeal is filed the hearing will be conducted by the City Council.
