Volunteers

Welcome to the City of Florence Volunteer Program!

Our Volunteer Program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to get involved in their community and make a difference in a variety of areas. From Parks and Airport to Police Auxiliary and supporting the Florence Events Center, we have a diverse range of volunteer opportunities available.

Public Works Volunteers

Our Parks department is always looking for volunteers to help ensure our parks are clean and welcoming for all visitors. The Airport department needs volunteers to staff the office, answer questions, and greet people as they arrive in our beautiful city.

Justice Center Volunteers

The Police Auxiliary program involves working closely with the Justice Center to assist with general patrol and jail checks. It is a great way to give back to the community while also gaining valuable experience.

Florence Events Center Volunteers

If you enjoy working with people and have a passion for the arts, we have a number of opportunities available at the Florence Events Center. Volunteers can help with Event Hosting by taking tickets and greeting guests, Office Support by answering questions and doing some clerical work, or Theater Operations by helping backstage during performances.

All volunteers are required to register and complete an application before participating in any program. Please note that this program is designed for individual volunteers only. If your group is interested in volunteering together, please reach out to the individual program to coordinate.
