Water Treatment Plant Operator I
$3,239—4,475 monthly
The City of Florence is accepting applications for a Water Treatment Plant Operator I to join our team at Florence Public Works!
Position Summary: The Water Treatment Plant Operator I is responsible for operation and maintenance of the City's Water Treatment Plant(s), including continuing operation and routine maintenance of wells, reservoirs and booster pump stations under the general supervision of the Public Works Director or his/her designee.
Qualifications: Education equivalent to high school diploma with special consideration given to experience in specialized courses related to water treatment.
Desirable Qualifications: Possession of Water Treatment Plant Operator certification; and Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
