The City of Florence elects members of the Florence City Council during the November general election of even years. The Mayor and two of the four City Councilors are elected during each election cycle.  

The next election for these positions open on the Florence City Council and will be filled in the November 2024 General Election:

  • Mayor - 2 Year Term
  • Councilor - 4 Year Term
  • Councilor - 4 Year Term

At the May 20th City Council meeting, the City Recorder presented an overview of the election process and how potential candidates can run for office.
