Notice of Public Hearing
On April 4, 2022, the City of Florence City Council at its regular 5:30 PM meeting taking place in-person at the Florence Events Center at 715 Quince St, Florence, Oregon, and virtually via the GotoWebinar platform, will hold a public hearing to hear testimony from interested persons about a proposed sale of City property. The property to be discussed is generally located on Spruce Street north of Munsel Lake Road at Tax Lot 203 Map 18-12-14-20 in the City of Florence, Lane County, Oregon. The City is considering selling full fee and title the residential medium density use property. The City has no foreseeable use for the property and has had the property available for sale since September 2019. At the hearing, any resident of the City will be given the opportunity to present written or oral testimony about the proposed sale.
Citizens may provide verbal comments and testimony at the meeting via the GotoWebinar platform. In order to participate verbally at the meeting, citizens are required to complete a speaker’s card at least 1 hour prior to the start of the meeting (April 4, 2022, at 4:30 p.m.). ** NOTE: Written comments must be received at least 2 hours prior to the start of the meeting (April 4, 2022, at 3:30 p.m.) to be distributed to the City Council and made part of the record.
