Recycle Your Unwanted Household Appliances, Tires and Propane Tanks

Environmental Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) is hosting the Black and White Recycling Event, which will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 10AM-2PM at Siuslaw High School Parking Lot (2975 Oak Street, Florence, OR 97439).

Acceptable items include but are not limited to: refrigerators, hair dryers, toasters, dish washers, washers & dryers, stoves, air conditioners, empty propane tanks (5 gallon size or less) and tires 22” or less (limit 10 per household).

This City of Florence sponsored event is provided in collaboration with County Transfer & Recycling, Central Coast Disposal, Les Schwab and Potters Tires.  The disposal costs are funded by Lane County’s System Benefit Fees paid by area residents and businesses through their garbage bills.  All are encouraged to use and/or promote this free recycling opportunity you have paid for through fees.
